DO NOT ftp in text form, use binary. Transfering usin text will convert
accents, packed decimal field to junk or sometime remove the bytes completly.
Transfer in binary mode and convert on Unix. SQL*Loader can read EBCDIC data,
packed decimal fields and do the convertion properly (except with a knowned
problem with the "|").
