Dear Devinder,
If your checkpoints will occur more frequently then the log switch ,
that means the DBWR
will write more frequently to the disk , thus generating less redologs,
so if a recovery has to be made,
since most of the data changed is available on the disk, there is no
need to apply large number of redologs,
thus reducing the recovery time
