8i ships but not for NT

Well I read the press releases about 8i (finally!) shipping last Monday and according to the Oracle Web site its for all platforms.

So I called to order my upgrade BUT according to Oracle support that press release is meant to read as all platforms that are based on the Solaris OS <vbg>..........

there is currently no NT version available!!!!

and they have no idea when an NT version might be available.

I know Larry wants to kill NT off as much as he wants us all to use NC's but does that mean Oracle are not going to support NT any longer and are going to try and force us all to abandon NT for Solaris?

Anyone got any info on this???
