Hi all,

Replying to my own post. Thanks Peter Scott!

My problem was in the startup of the listener. The instructions from Tom Bissett at 'jordan.fortwayne.com/oracle/applinux.html' are incorrect when it states to start up the listener by 'lnsrctl start' which should be 'lsnrctl start'. I wrote to Tom and pointed this out. Hopefully he will correct the instructions.

Thanks to all who responded w/ help!

-Keith
