Maybe because you've reach the maximum file size in using the Oracle's IMP tools.

But let me ask you this. Is you DB and Y2K resides in the same UNIX node ? If so, try to create first all the objects from Y2K instance. then use the DATABASE LINK. to copy all your objects from DB to Y2K.
