If you insist on generating the ASCII-file at PL/SQL-level you can alwas use the UTL_FILE package. It
works fine, but you get the file on the Oracle Server. so you need to do some stuff to send the file
to a printerport. But I would not generate the file at PL/SQL-level, but that's a design issue.....
