SQL Server 6.5 v Oracle 8

It is possible that we may be soon using Oracle 8 on NT 4.0 to run a large financial app.

Although I've been running our MS SQL Servers for the last few years
(versions 4.21, 6.0 & 6.5) I havn't seen Oracle since the days of V6 on Unix
(about 5 years)

SQL 6.5 has been a doddle to look after - automated nightly backup, DB sanity check and allocation check, weekly update statistics and rebuild indexes job.

Thanks
