Hi,

I saw some strange things in Oracle7 (release 7.3.4) catexp views. A good example is exu7tabc view which is intended to support cumulative exports.
There is a date condition:

  TO_DATE('01-01-00','DD-MM-YY'))
  ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^!!!!

It will not work properly in 2000. So cumulative exports will not go as expected.
In catexp7 from Oracle8 (8.0.4) this is clearly corrected with:
  TO_DATE('01-01-1900','DD-MM-YYYY'))
  ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

It is reproduced to exu7vewc, exu7sync, exu7cluc, exu7sprc, exu7snapc, exu7snaplc. Very similiar problem is with exu7syn.

Well, Oracle7 is said to be fully compliant with Y2K. But with this example we see, that one of important Oracle server tools will not work without patching. Next, this problem seems to be known (catexp7 in Oracle8) but is not corrected in the terminal release of Oracle7 (Oracle 7.3.4 was released just at the same time as 8.0.4). Are there another problems ?
Any comments ?
