OEM Console fails to open on NT

Hi,

We're running Oracle 8.0.4 db and Oracle Enterprise Manager 1.5.0.

Having opted for the entire Client install, to be safe, on an NT 4.0 workstation the Enterprise Manager console fails to work.

TCP/IP, SQL worksheet, Daemon Manager, etc all work fine. When the console icon is selected the hour glass appears for about two seconds and then disappears and the machine doesn't do anything.

It doesn't look like anything to do with the Net8 setup as the login window doesn't even appear. The database is up and responding to other client requests.

I have already done exactly the same install on a Windows 95 machine without any problems at all.

My main headache is why the console fails to even get as far as a login window and yet other options get all the way through !?!

If anyone can shed any light on this I would be very grateful.

Thanks
