Have you installed Oracle reports/forms under a seperate Oracle home ? Oracle recommend that you do . If you ever talk to Oracle about using 2 oracle homes for the same database , they will tell you not to , until you speak to the development tools teams .

If you have , are both Oracle homes on the same disk ( I am thinking maybe a slow disk ) .

Is it possible that you are low on RAM and when you access the Reports apps you cause paging ?
