Hi,

Another very good book is Oracle:Advanced tuning and Administration, also published by Oracle Press. It doesn't cover general administration, but concentrates on tuning and performance. It covers versions up to 7.3. I've been an Oracle DBA for 4-5 years, but still learn't quite a lot from it. Probably not one for the novice DBA though. Its fairly new, being available in the UK only in the last few months.
