Knowing why you did this may allow us to offer a better solution.
(Are you aware that when you install the server version, the client is
also installed, and are you aware that version 9 is compatible with version 10 and version 8)
Presuming that you had a good reasons ... You can keep seperate multiple tnsnames.ora files. You can toggle which is used by using "Home Selector" If it becomes too messy to keep all of them updated (if they are used to access the same databases) you can use just one. Simply define the system variable TNS_ADMIN=C:\Oracle ...
(the directory where the valid tnsnames.ora file is located)
