Ghost works ok. Except when it doesn't, which is probably "user error on device." I'm intent on trying it for backing up OAS10G.

Changing hostnames is version dependent, and I think there may be serious problems with the versions implied in your post - you should always post exact version info. The issues involved in multiple hosts with the same hostname is left as an execise for the stupid.
