I am assisting to recruit a Manager, Information Technology for a client in MA. Here is the full description:

The Manager, Information Technology manages IT activities to ensure successful completion of projects; provides technical guidance to the IT staff; serves as primary point of contact for project managers, line managers, executive staff and clients; manages corporate computing administration, IT procurement, communications, security, disaster recovery, user support and help desk; manages timelines, deadlines, and resourcing for corporate IT initiatives; manages the preparation of installation qualifications, technical procedures, user guides, and other system documentation; directs system management activities; manages personnel activities. Lifting of up to 100 pounds may be required.

Qualifications: BA/BS in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems or related discipline; minimum 5 years IT experience and 2 years staff management experience. Must have experience managing projects, help desk, and server administration. Strong management skills; in-depth knowledge of standard IT procedures; advanced computer skills including strong knowledge of UNIX, Microsoft server software, Domino, firewalls and routers, and Novell; strong organizational, leadership, decision making, communication, and problem solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a CRO/biotech/pharmaceutical environment and/or a regulated environment; experience with Oracle and/or SQL Server.
