I am afraid I strongly disagree .........because it is a serious design issue with Oracle if Newbies have to struggle so much just to access a sample test database.
I realize security is a major issue but it is definitely possible to provide access to
Oracle for newbies without compromising security. I know I have to pay for MS-SQL2000 & Oracle is kind of free but this is too big a titanic struggle just to login to a DB ?

Also if I do need professional help then that is an issue with Oracle It is not intended for the masses but only the elite.......that is fine with me
if you think you (Oracle worshipper) & Oracle think you are so high & holy.

I tried so hard to answer your question politely but I am now in the gutter called USENET.
Why is USENET filled with such assholes who think their fucking newsgroup so goddamn holy ?
I asked a simple fucking question about logging in and I get a motherfucking lecture on how to run my life. ......give me a fucking break

Ok I am a stupid loser .....I still want to use Oracle. Am I still 'qualified' and are you going to help me ?

Geez.....newsgroups are supposed to help people but all I get in these fucking
newsgroups 99% of the time is this etiquette bullshit from Ms.Landers.

Answer the question specifically or shut the fuck up..........no offense intended of course Received on Thu Jul 31 2003 - 13:03:25 CDT
