Well, if you do the work of a DBA, you may call yourself DBA. To find out what the work of a DBA is, consult the online-Documentations of Oracle (also available on their CD's). There are chapters about the roles of a DBA, and a "How-to-get-started with Oracle" chapter.
If you find that you do what they describe there (or at least parts of it), you may call yourself DBA.
Maybe you can trick your HR-department to take the magic letters "DBA" into your job-description also...
