Don't know if this answers your specific question. I'm assuming you installed it on a Windows o/s.

It's like the old shell game ... guess which walnut shell the pea is hidden under. You start by looking in %ORACLE_HOME%\bin\oracle.key, which contains only one line - a partial registry key (eg, Software\ORACLE\HOME0). Now open your registry (regedit) and look in HKLM\Software\ORACLE\HOME0, where you'll most likely find an ORACLE_SID key, which most likely will point to foo.
