Likely you will find this answer more useful as your provided some information.

I change my guess. Now I guess is that the machine you are installing on is a Pentium 4.

If so this bug has been reported and you can find lots of discussion on the topic in the archives at google and at metalink. There is a workaround/patch you can get from metalink and possibly other places.
