I think the guy does know what he is talking about. He never implied it
needed to be installed on only one node or server. If that is the impression
I left, the mistake is all mine.
The agent needs to be installed on every node, but the version on each node should be the version of the highest version of Oracle installed on that particular node.
So one node with an 8.1.5 and a 8.1.7 server - Install the 8.1.7 agent here Another node with 9.0.1 - Install the 9.0.1. agent here
That's his adivce.
