to_number(<value>).

Example:

to_number(002) will output 2

set linesize <number of desired characters in a line>

It's probably defaulting to 79 or 80 now. Change it to 132 or whatever you like.

In what way? (more info pls.) If it's what I'm thinking, look up the word_wrapped report formatting command.
