Can you clarify exactly how you're connecting to the database? There appear to be 3 options for you when you're writing an ASP-
If you're using the third option, you'll also have the option as to which ODBC driver you're using (Microsoft ODBC driver for Oracle, Oracle ODBC driver, Merant ODBC driver for Oracle, etc.)
Depending on exactly how you're connecting, there may be different functionality available.
Also, can you give the failing connect string you're using in the ASP?
