Personal Oracle 8.1.6 install problem (on Win ME)

Hi,

I downloaded Personal Oracle 8.1.6, and I'm having trouble installing it (I'm running Windows Me).

The Universal Installer gets to the point where it asks me for the source file (products.jar) and the destination directory. I leave the default values in there, and click "Next". It completes loading product information, and then the following error box appears:

"There was a problem in accessing the staging area. Please make sure the specified values for 'Source' and 'Destination' are valid."

I know the source file is correct, because it is the only 'products.jar' file in the download. I have tried entering all kinds of directories in the 'Destination' field, and it makes no difference.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!!
