Decide on what path you are interested in:

    Database Administrator
    Application Developer
    Web Developer
Download the technologies you need or purchase a "track" (~$200) Install, and begin reading docs and asking questions.

If you get a job as an entry level application developer, your shop should send you to the appropriate training.
