Sorry Tandy,

I'm afraid you're using the new installer the wrong way. Oracle 805 EE + tools isn't that hard to install.
Try a clean machine. Start again from scratch. Install the new installer first. See Technet/software/developer/support. Takes a couple of hours, but takes away a lot of frustration
