Hi all,

I'm trying to put the Oracle automate shutdown in Redhat 6.1 in the system shutdown or reboot level /etc/rc.d/...but no luck.

The Chap. 4 of Oracle8 installation guide for LINUX Release 8.0.5 asks to create the link in level 0 after create /etc/rc.d/init.d/dbora script startup/shutdown

But it never works when I run 'reboot' or 'poweroff' or 'shutdown -y -g0 -i6' or 'shutdown -y -g0 -i0'

Where should I put the oracle shutdown script to run everytime the 'reboot' or 'poweroff' ' or 'shutdown ...' is executed ?

Thanks in advance for any help.
