Van is RIGHT. Ignore that NASTY Cynical Chief of Police (he obviously works for the LAPD or NYPD - and we know how trustworthy they are? We all know what Cynics are too!). I doubt the validity of the Chief's statements : IBM DB2 is good - but what does he know about market share of Oracle and DB2 in the EU or their speeds too! What does he know about the EU? If you find no joy or sympathy from your current employers - MOVE ON - there are loads of opportunities - it is up to you - consider moving or CONTRACTING too. If you must remember one thing : Be confident about your abilities.

PS As for Chief Of Police's derogatory comment about Al Gore - it would be worse if it were ...
