You should be able to tweak the Oracle 8 Makefiles for Oratcl for your SGI platform. You should compare the Makefile from your Tcl build on SGI with the defines in Oratcl.
Hopefully, my slow updates to Oratcl will get a much needed boost RSN. Stayed tuned.
