X/A Interface

HI All

I am devoloping an X/A interface for my project using Oracle. Is anybody know the full prototype of the X/A functions. Like xa_open xa_close.
In xa.h they have given like
xa_open(char *, int, long)

but my question is what should be the values of the parameter. If you guys have any document or some material which describes the X/A interface, it will very helpful to me.
