For architectural reasons (take my word for this, it's somewhat ugly), password encryption will not work when SecurID is used.

However, this shouldn't pose much of a problem because the SecurID passcode is specific to a card and cardholder and is only valid for a small period of time. So password snooping would not be of any use.
