The manual you require is the installation guide for Sun Sparc Solaris 2.5. The recommended lines in /etc/system are;

set shmsys:shminfo_shmmax=8388608
set shmsys:shminfo_shmmin=1
set shmsys:shminfo_shmmni=100
set shmsys:shminfo_shmseg=10
set shmsys:shminfo_semmns=200
set shmsys:shminfo_semmni=70

As you are modifying /etc/system I'll assume that you know what these represent. The values can be altered if required but these are generally sufficient and remember that increasing them too high can prevent the machine from booting up.
