WebServer-CGI-Environmentvariable readable from Java ??

hi there,

I want to get the envirnmentvariable "REMOTE_USER" into a Java-application running on the Oracle Webserver 2.1 (java-cartridge). but i failed:

the system.properties returned some webserver-specific env.vars, but there's no one which can be compared to the "REMOTE_USER" environment.
a call from the wrb-api, WRBGetUserID, failed.

are there any possibilities to get this f**** env.variable?

any hint or help would be VERY useful!!
