On Mac OS, you have SQL Developer or DBeaver. You can also download Oracle Client which will allow you to use TNS as well. From the command line you can also run SQLcl. So there are plenty of options to connect to Oracle databases.

Since I work at a University, we have a number of people that prefer to use Macs instead of PCs. I use TOAD, but that doesn’t appear to run on Macs. I don’t know if PL/SQL Developer works on a Mac. For anyone that uses a Mac, how do you access Oracle databases? What tools do you use? This is for people that want direct access, not access via a web app, to do data mining.   

We are running Oracle 19c on Red Hat Linux.
