I did Nagios in a previous life. While i enjoyed the history charts/graphs/pictures, it seemed kind of high maintenance to me.

I think it also required OS Level authentication (ops$.) , which didn't please me (or the security auditors.)

Given my druthers, I don't imagine I'd be happy paying NAPA or Nissan to monitor my Ford Mustang. Just saying...
