Oracle support just had me use the -force option, which I hate to do.

We had success following Symptom 23 in Doc ID 1602089.1 (setting 2 underscore parameters).

CAUTION: This email originated from outside of Snap-on. Do not click on links or open attachments unless you have validated the sender, even if it is a known contact. Contact the sender by phone to validate the contents. I installed the Oracle 19c combo patch this afternoon. Now when I try to run ./datapatch -verbose from the $ORACLE_HOME/OPatch directory, I get the following output:

oracle_at_vmora00a7:ORA19000>./datapatch<mailto:oracle_at_vmora00a7:ORA19000%3e./datapatch> -verbose SQL Patching tool version 19.9.0.0.0 Production on Fri Oct 23 17:46:48 2020 Copyright (c) 2012, 2020, Oracle. All rights reserved.

I've tried to follow all the varied scenarios in Doc ID 1602089.1. However, when I try to query any of the opatch "tables", nothing ever comes back, it just hangs and I end up having to shutdown abort the database to get out of it. Since I can't match up the issues I'm seeing with any of the errors listed in that document, I'm not sure where to go with this. Does anyone have any other ideas?
