I would suggest a bit of HW tuning. Add a 512GB NVME drive and use it
as flash cache. After that, put your most frequently used tables in
the flash cache and your DBWR will be much faster. You will only need
more DB writers if you're experiencing free buffer waits. Nobody, not
even Kevin Closson, can help you predict your workload without testing.
