Thanks, Maris and Mark for the reply. I am also more inclined towards providing the necessary data extract to the other company along with configuration files and installable custom components. There may be some work required from the other company but if they have decided to buy a business then they need to put some effort. This way it is more controlled and less risky of deleting something critical and having potential performance issues.
