ADMIN: RE: Is the AWS support for Oracle enough good?

All protests about others’ behavior should be either directly and privately with the other person or with the ADMIN directly (which is often the case because direct emails may not be possible to a lot of accounts.) Definitely *NOT* to the list as a whole. That should only come from ADMIN. That is Mark Bobak, but he has authorized me to step in when timely response seems right and I don’t know if he has had a chance that day. This is such an occasion. Mark will let you know if he disagrees in any way, and I submit in advance to any such correction.  

In general we should keep to Oracle technical topics and brief OT asides or announcements pre-authorized by the ADMIN. Over decades that has worked reasonably on this list without screening posts in advance (which would kill the list by making it expensive instead of free).  

So please let’s up our game, all of us. I personally thought the Onion reference indicated that Mladen was kidding, but we also need to remember we have issues of international communications, so let’s be careful out there. Likewise I thought Juan was kidding back, which shows how easy it is to touch a personal tragedy unintentionally.  

All the best my friends, and hopes that we can seamlessly return to our previously scheduled technical conversations and let this pass.

I'm sorry I didn't that with that intention, but I'm asking why when is convenient for you, you take as a joke and when is not convenient for you, you play with guilty, these means to assume people does thing with bad intention.

If you want to make jokes you must accept things with sense of humor,

Remembering your mails, me and other people could take that attitude and act in that way, but I think you must mature.

I'll not repeat the joke if you take in that way any way, because is not my intention to hurt or fault the respect to anyone in this forum.

My father died on December the 3rd 2011, two day after his 80th birthday and you are definitely not him. No matter how irked you may be by my post, dragging someone's family through the public mailing list is not the way to settle scores. Please refrain from such practice. I have also emailed the list admin, to complain about this post. I sort of hoped that this list can stay above despicable insults like this one.
