	Hi All,
	  I have a question that may be a touch backwards.  My option is
to create a standalone instance on 10G or single-node RAC 10G. Aside from support, does anyone have any pros and cons to potential approach.

note, if you create a database with MAXINSTANCES>0 and add threads of redo, it is
technically a RAC database. You can create it this way, run it this way and not
have RAC linked in. I'd consider going that way--unless money grows on trees :-)
