Oracle needs Linux more than you do. It is their need to own a platform. Nothing more, nothing less.

Oracle don't run their ERP on it. 'nuff said.

(Yes, I know some will question my assertion that Oracle don't run their ERP on Linux, because I surmise most have been duped into believing that. I always have references. You have to when you are not a blind follower).

P.S. Adrian's book was awesome.
