RE: RMAN specification ERROR

MessageThis may be a redo log that hasn't been archived yet. Try do a recover blah,blah.....until cancel and when it asks for this log enter cancel. It will either say you can recover and open the database or you can't.

  It sounds like an archivelog that it is expecting to find is not there.

  Try doing a Change archivelog all crosscheck; or now Change archivelog all validate;

  Then re-run the RMAN backup

  I think you are cross checking the backup only

  I am getting the following message after an RMAN backup. No Oracle or RMAN error code is returned.

  I am doing a crosscheck backup and a crosscheck copy.
