I have an issue with slow I/O on FireWire drive. Drive throughput, accordin= g
to my measurements, is 500 KB/sec. It's "K", not "M". Other IDE or SCSI dri= ves
have throughput in excess of 20MB/sec. You probably see why am I a bit upse= t.
The FS on the drive is OCFS 2.0. Does anybody else have some experience wit= h
this configuration? It is approximately as nice and pleasant to work with a= s=20
having a root canal done.
