Mhmm... What says V$VERSION and DBA_REGISTRY?

The JServer isn't shared in any way. A database can only be installed = with the JServer that comes with the release.=20 On the other side the JRE installed to work with tools (dbca, netca, = ...) can be shared between installations. But it has no influence on the = version user for JServer.
