On a test server we are configuring multiple Oracle installs by manipulating /var/opt/oracle/OraInst.loc. This seems to work for installing Oracle, but when I create a database it is badly mangled. When I use SQL*Plus, it says Oracle 9.2.0.3, but then mentions JServer 9.2.0.5. I dimly recall someone on this list mentioning that the Java stuff is shared somewhere else. Can anyone offer any ideas?
