I did consulting for a company who had an Oracle database that was only 600MB and they had 1 MB redo logs, which was fine. It all depends on the business requirements. Why they didn't go with Microcrap Access still remains a mystery.

It is very costly for Oracle to do the = log switch. You would want to have it doing a switch about every 30 = minutes only. You will have less
