To be fair ... a lot of people on this list use MS Outlook or Outlook express (such as myself)

When I "reply" to a message, it goes to "ORACLE-L_at_fatcity.com <ORACLE-L_at_fatcity.com>"
and when I "reply all", it goes to "ORACLE-L_at_fatcity.com <ORACLE-L_at_fatcity.com>; Multiple recipients of list ORACLE-L ORACLE-L_at_fatcity.com"
/* okay , no snide comments about a real e-mail program like elm */

It has taken me eons to figure out where to get the recipients real address. Now that I know how, it is pretty obvious. (On the from field, highlight the name, right click, then go to properties..)

Also, you e-mail was the first where I saw the term "backchannel" instead of "reply to me directly".

The people that responded via the list probably had similar problems. Perhaps you might reconsider sending it to those who requested via the list?

Babette.
