RE: SALARY OF AN ORACLE DBA IN THE US

Depends on location. I have a 1000sqft home, just valued at 142K, a 4200sqft in Medfiled goes for 750K. Not sure what it is about MA and Oracle DBA's... But I still get 4 - 6 calls a month from recruiters. DBA's can write their own ticket here. Lots of consulting work too... It's been like this for the past seven years (That's how long I've worked with Oracle, Informix prior to that).
