Hi,

For those who are considering moving to 8.1.6 on Solaris or are already on

8.1.6.0 I Just wonder if you would apply patch 8.1.6.1.1. The base version
8.1.6.0 itself has a potential problem ("database may crash after upgrade to
8.1.6" alert - Note 96117.1), but patch 8.1.6.1.1 introduces another
problem: ORA-04045 and ORA-600 on startup (Note 109595.1). I do not want to receive page messages early Sunday AM when databases are started after cold backup. Received on Tue Jun 06 2000 - 21:32:43 CDT
