Re: Fast Forms4.5 loading

  With the new version of Financials 10.6 and 10SC which runs 4.5.6.5.5, ti suggests preloading the Oracle Forms libraries at windows startup. It takes me about 1 minute to come up without preload and 40 seconds with. Try createing a program group and moving it into startup that looks like:

C:\orawin\bin\cdeinit.exe forms

C:\orawin\bin is the working directory.

It also suggests making at least a 20MB permanent swap space on the PC. This is done under the Control Panel 386 Enhanced Icon. This has caused some problems when logging in from a different PC.
