No, singular is correct. In topology (as in linear algebra) you spek of
"the dimension" (singular) of a space:

But, actually, in topology there are more than one dimensions. For example:
But still, singular is correct, because for topological /data/ the Krull
dimension is the most adequate, and it is the dimension notion I use.
The Krull dimension is then sometimes called the "combinatorial dimension".
Alas, the English Wikipedia article (and also
http://nl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Krull-dimensie ) only mentions its /algebraic/
definition. Its topological counterpart is presented in the corresponding
German, and French Wikipedia articles.
