Interesting. I once taught a product called RALLY (from DEC) to a mixed group of programmers and analysts.
RALLY basically provided a forms and menus interface to an engine that would generate an application and a database.
The application, in turn, provided menus, forms and reports to the end user.

Analysts, who were used to coming up with specs, got it immediately. Programmers couldn't figure it out very well at all.

And, culturally, I was closer to the programmer group than to the analyst group. Received on Sat Feb 10 2007 - 13:59:05 CET
